The Sequoia Platform Bed takes its name from California’s Sequoia National Park, home to some of the largest and most enduring trees in the world. Built with the same spirit of strength and longevity, this solid-wood platform bed offers clean lines, natural beauty, and long-term support.
Raised 13 inches off the ground, the Sequoia allows healthy airflow beneath the mattress to help reduce moisture and prevent mildew in humid climates. The design includes a horizontal plank headboard that gives this platform bed frame a bold, timeless look.
Handcrafted from all-natural poplar by a Kentucky woodworking shop and made for mattress-only support, the Sequoia works beautifully as a durable platform bed with frame in any room. It’s available in Twin, Full, Queen, and King, including our best-selling platform bed frame queen, making it a perfect fit for master bedrooms, guest rooms, and growing families.

- Our bed's assembly process takes advantage of the pocket hole assembly method and involves driving screws directly into solid wood during assembly. The pocket hole assembly method is a tried and true assembling technique for our beds.

About our Poplar Wood:
This is an all-natural wood product. There may be slight color variance between pieces. We use a clear-grade poplar wood, which may contain a few smaller, less noticeable knots.
At times you may receive a piece that has a green tint to it. This is because the wood is freshly milled, revealing a layer to light and air for the 1st time. This will fade to light browns and tans within a few days depending on airflow and UV light in the room.
