The Acadia Canopy Bed is a solid poplar canopy frame that brings structure and quiet drama to the room, with clean lines that suit a child's room now and a teen's room later. Made to order and built with no MDF or veneers, it shows off the subtle grain and natural color of real poplar.

About the wood: poplar is a natural material, so expect slight color variation between pieces and a few small knots. Freshly milled boards can show a green tint at first; it fades to light browns and tans within a few days.

- Our bed's assembly process takes advantage of the pocket hole assembly method and involves driving screws directly into solid wood during assembly. The pocket hole assembly method is a tried and true assembling technique for our beds.

About our Poplar Wood:
This is an all-natural wood product. There may be slight color variance between pieces. We use a clear-grade poplar wood, which may contain a few smaller, less noticeable knots.
At times you may receive a piece that has a green tint to it. This is because the wood is freshly milled, revealing a layer to light and air for the 1st time. This will fade to light browns and tans within a few days depending on airflow and UV light in the room.
