Every platform bed frame is handcrafted from all-natural poplar wood by a Kentucky woodworking shop and includes sturdy slats, making it perfect for mattress-only support, no box spring needed.

- Our bed's assembly process takes advantage of the pocket hole assembly method and involves driving screws directly into solid wood during assembly. The pocket hole assembly method is a tried and true assembling technique for our beds.

About our Poplar Wood:
This is an all-natural wood product. There may be slight color variance between pieces. We use a clear-grade poplar wood, which may contain a few smaller, less noticeable knots.
At times you may receive a piece that has a green tint to it. This is because the wood is freshly milled, revealing a layer to light and air for the 1st time. This will fade to light browns and tans within a few days depending on airflow and UV light in the room.
