Finish

The Mesa Daybed is inspired by the warmth and openness of desert mesas: an inviting solid poplar daybed made for afternoon naps, reading, and lounging. Parents love it for a kid's or teen's room that doubles as a hangout, and it's lovely in a sunroom or guest space, too.

Key features

  • Solid poplar, made in the USA by a Kentucky woodworking shop
  • Mattress-support slats included
  • Daybed design that works as a bed by night and a sofa-style seat by day
  • Available in Twin, Full, and Queen

Specs

  • Material: solid poplar
  • Sizes: Twin, Full, Queen

Shipping & Assembly

  • Unfinished: ships in 5–7 business days
  • Stained finishes are made to order and ship in about 1.5 to 2 weeks.
  • Free shipping to the lower 48 (not available to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or Canada; please contact us before ordering)
  • Choose Unfinished (ready to paint, stain, or leave natural) or one of four stains: Charcoal, Warm Brown, Cool Gray, or Golden Oak.
  • Assembles with the pocket hole method: instructions and assembly videos included (watch here)
  • #2 square drill bit (6-inch) included; you'll need a cordless drill (14V or stronger) and an extra set of hands

About the wood: poplar is a natural material, so expect slight color variation between pieces and a few small knots. Freshly milled boards can show a green tint at first; it fades to light browns and tans within a few days.

Purveyor pieces were the perfect lightly colored pieces we wanted. We also knew after years of buying cheap furniture it was time to get sturdy, well made solid wood pieces

Absolutely love it!

We are updating Bodhi’s room and he has graduated to a big boy bed. We were searching for the perfect bed for his room that will last him several years. We found The Sequoia Platform Bed from @purveyor15 and absolutely love it! It is real wood, nontoxic, and it’s made in The USA!

Exactly what I was going for!

The Sequoia is very natural and has a very light airy feel and the style of bed is low to the ground, which in my opinion makes the enviornment so much more cozy and quaint. Exactly what I was going for!

So happy!

I bought this beautiful full-size floor bed for my 1 year old with the intentions of her keeping it for at least until she’s a teen (I know I would personally sleep in this now at 28, so she may keep it longer!) I got the bed with legs, but built it without them for now so that it can be raised later on to grow with her. Took about an hour to put together (because I did it with a one year old at my feet) and it came with detailed instructions and all of the tools including the “6 square bit for the drill, which I thought was very generous! I debated between going the cheap route and buying one from Amazon, but so happy I splurged and paid for natural sturdy wood that will last many years to come!

Perfect!

We upgraded our 6 year old's room with the Everglades House Bed and my only concern is that we DIDN'T DO IT SOONER! Our son absolutely loves how fun it is, while we love that he is finally sleeping in his room straight through the night. We decided to stain the wood to match his room. The wood came ready to be stained and in perfect condition. The instructions were incredibly easy to follow, and the wood is high quality making the bed sturdy and durable. We are so excited to love this bed for years to come!

Very Happy!

I bought my bed three years ago and found out that one of the parts needed to be replaced. I contacted Ross and he was right on it. He got it replaced for me at a reasonable cost and I’m very happy with his service.

Fantastic

Our son loves his teepee floor bed! The seller did a fantastic job with the craftsmanship and letting me know that all materials that were used are free from any harsh chemicals or materials. The packaging was excellent, nothing came damaged. Seller was very communicative and attentive to all my questions. Thank you so much for our son's lovely bed!
