Katy, her family, and their stunning home have been on an 18-month journey to bring their dream space to life.
“Our home took 18 months to build, and we just moved in mid-October of this year,” Katy shares.
Unlike a renovation, their house is a new build featuring a unique solid structural masonry design—a special brick style that combines timeless charm with durability.

“Our primary bedroom is cozy and simple,” she says.
Her appreciation for open spaces and minimal decor shines through, creating a restful atmosphere.
While Katy is still allowing the room to “speak to her,” she’s confident that it doesn’t need much more.
“I’d like to add a few final touches and a big plant this spring,” she notes.
The simplicity of the space offers the perfect foundation for subtle enhancements over time.
