At Purveyor 15, we believe that furniture can be the foundation for creativity, comfort, and connection. When Carmen Wong reached out to share her story, we were thrilled to see how our Shenandoah House Bed became a meaningful part of her family’s journey.
The Wong family recently moved into her family’s first house in Georgia. Carmen, creates content about family life, home design, and the little joys of parenting. While, her husband, Webster, is pursuing his PhD in math education. Between unpacking boxes and making the house feel like home, she focused on creating a magical, calming space for her two oldest daughters, Tatiana (6) and Natalia (3).
A Vision of Sky and Dreams
Carmen wanted her daughters’ room to reflect their vibrant imaginations and shared adventures
. “I wanted to create a magical and calming space for my two older daughters, where they could dream, play, and grow together,” she explained.
Inspired by Tatiana’s choice of a sky-and-cloud wallpaper, Carmen designed a soothing blue-themed room filled with charm and wonder. But she needed a centerpiece that would tie everything together—and that’s when she discovered the Shenandoah House Bed.
The Shenandoah House Bed: A Perfect Fit
The Shenandoah House Bed checked every box for Carmen. “Purveyor completely nailed it with their house bed!” she said. “Its sturdy design and charming details fit perfectly with the vision I had in mind. I especially love the little house fences that make it feel like their own mini home inside a big house.”
For busy parents like Carmen and her husband, Webster, assembly was an important consideration. “It was easy to assemble, which is a huge win for busy parents, and the quality is amazing,” she shared.
More Than Just a Bed
The Shenandoah House Bed has become a centerpiece not only in design but in the everyday moments of Tatiana and Natalia’s lives. “The bed has become so much more than just furniture,” Carmen told us. “It’s now part of our bedtime stories, imaginative play—they love pretending to chat with neighbors—and even fort-building with blankets. It truly brings the room to life!”
The girls have made the bed their own in unique ways. “Tatiana loves decorating it with lots of toys surrounding her, while Natalia gets cozy with blankets everywhere,” Carmen said. “Every night, they look forward to climbing into their ‘little house,’ and honestly, seeing their excitement makes all the effort worth it.”
