Valentine's Fun for Your Whole Family

Valentine's Fun for Your Whole Family

Valentine’s Day is about spending time with the people you love most. Here’s a few fun ways to spend the day with the whole family before heading off to date night.

Make Valentine’s Day Cookies

Try your hand at making sugar cookie dough from scratch or grab a pre-made roll of your favorite store bought dough. Find some heart shape cookie cutters, heart sprinkles, red food coloring, and white icing. Create as many different shades of red and pink icing as you please with the food coloring, or add it to your cookie dough for pink cookies.

Candy Heart Scavenger Hunt

Want to get creative and plan a game for the kiddos to brag to all their friends about this week at school? Hide candy conversation hearts around the house and create a fun scavenger hunt. Find the best valentine puns and rhymes for game clues and fill your house with laughter and love!

Make Valentine’s Day Cards for Your Neighbors

Spread the love with those nearby by making fun Valentine's Day cards for your neighbors. Teach your kids the value of a handwritten card and show your kindness and appreciation for those nearby.

Bonus: take them a few of those homemade Valentine cookies too!

Create an Indoor Valentine Picnic

It may be too cold to enjoy a picnic outside, but that doesn't mean you can’t enjoy a picnic from the comfort and warmth of your own home. Clear some space in the dining or living room and spread out a blanket you don’t mind getting those cookie crumbs on. Get their favorite take out foods or use the heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shaped sandwiches. Serve with your favorite treats!
